Beth,

In general, I handle Moodle server issues: questions about enrollments, course creation, students who can't log in, and potential bugs.  For questions about how to do stuff--generally--you'll want to contact the faculty webmasters, at online@lanecc.edu.  (I've cc:d this message to them.)  They're much more familiar with the features of Moodle, and are better equipped to handle your requests.  If you're not sure who a question should go to, you can generally email both of us and it'll get handled by whichever is appropriate.

Hi,

I have a few questions about Moodle. 

1) I wanted to post an announcement and was under the impression that it would automatically be emailed to each student registered in the class. Is this possible and how would I do it?

2) I wanted to keep track of my grades on Moodle but all of my assessments are not online. I tried to add the assignment but could not seem to type in the grade earned. How do I do this?
