That's good to know.  I don't think it's the problem in Laura's case; the assignment names (as downloaded in Excel format) all have unique (though similar) names.

I'll take it, then, that we haven't seen behavior like this elsewhere, and that my hypothesis that the calculation of a final grade from numerous small percentages wasn't leading to the addition of rounding errors?  I didn't see anything in a cursory search on moodle.org, but I wanted to be sure that I wasn't dealing with something that was already well known.
