Mike,

Samantha was logging into your class in the Fall term instance, not Winter.  She is not actually an active student in Winter term--the only reason she exists there is that her user account was copied over by accident as part of a backup course.  (You can tell that she's not active because she's never actually logged in.)

For purposes of incompletes, what we have been doing is to continue to provide access to the previous term.  Giving access to a different term (e.g. Winter) for students who are not registered for that term presents some technical hurdles.  Is it possible for Samantha to finish her incomplete with the course that's in Fall term?

Hi,
  I added a student (L00395244, Samantha Windred) from my fall term GS142 class to my present GS 142 Metacourse so she could finish her Incomplete quizzes and tests.  However, that does not seem to be the solution.  She claims that she can log in but cannot see all the blocks that the present class sees.  Do you have any suggestions. Mike M.
