- As for SCORM you will see it being used more and more for module based learning in the future. It is the model that allows LMS cross-platform use. Lots of educational software use the SCORM model as their basis for output. 
- And as for cluttering up the interface, well hey I for one was really happy to see Loan Calculator turn up on the HTML blocks feature or how 'bout that great File Manager? :0

So are my only options for my Quality Matters Survey  PHPsurvey (which we are trying not to use) or creating my own email form?

The survey tool is NOT useful and does not do what you think it does.

The one who claims you CAN create a custom survey fails to note that you have to have sys admin access and be able to write PHP code.  So the answer is really "NO", you cannot create your own custom surveys in Moodle.

We never needed SCORM before you started SoftChalk, so why clutter the interface with it?
The same goes for Survey, and I suggest we don't set up false expectations by turning it on.

Ok... first it was SCORM was turned off. Now I went to use the Activity > Survey tool and it is turned off also. Why? How are decisions being reached on what stays on/off?
Please respond asap as I have a survey that needs to be completed by Tuesday.
