Journal module is missing and severalinstructors use this 
Blogs module is turned on. Are we ready to go there yet? 
Groups   No big deal but some problems with transfer from a Meta course with Groups. the group info about me transferred. Even though no user data was transferred with backup I was still listed in a group. To delete myself I had to turn on Settings>Groups, go into the Admin>Groups, delete myself, delete all groups then go back to settings and turn off groups otherwise my Fake Student (who was not in a group) would not show at all.   
META Courses: 
Are there directions? PDF Link did not work. 
When using your form, my MT 101 (meta test) did not show up as a child course. So I went in and added via Admin>child courses and it worked - probably my error on creation of meta course but worth checking into. 
Adding student to child>meta course does work
