SP100 - Basic Communication (20291, 23325)

I am encountering repeated "error" messages when trying to send messages via the particpants function.  In this case, I need to e-mail specific students about an assignment (4 of them) and I will copy/paste one-by-one, but can you assist in fixing this function?  It seems to happen quite frequently.
