I deleted a few students from my 'student' list in the administrative block. I did well adhering to the directions that went out to all moodle instructors on 1/2/07, BUT then 'strayed' off of the path.
When I could not readily find Stephanie Maddox in my class list (I wanted to delete her), I did a search (bottom right hand column of the student page)and Colin Maddox's name appeared in the right hand box. Colin is not in my class, but is probably in someone else's and I am concerned that I may have deleted him (or Her) from all moodle classes. 
I did end up finding 'stephanie maddox' and deleted her from my list, but continue to be concerned about the status of 'colin'.
This has all happened within the past 20 minutes, so if it is a problem, I hope it can be fixed before colin disappears into cyberspace.
Sorry for creating problems within other instructors courses...one would think that the problems I create within my own course would suffice.
