Thanks Meredith.  I couldn't remember where to put it.  I did all the rest.  By the way I bought a mic for the nano.  They're brand new.  Thanks.

Hi Pam, I was the one that helped you. If I remember correctly you were using an iPod. 
To convert your file:
1. Download the podcast to your iTunes just like you would a song.
2. It should show up in your iTunes Library under Music
3. Check the format under the column labeled "Kind". it will probably be a WAV audio file. It needs to be convert to MPEG format. to do this, select the file, go to the iTunes menu bar> Advanced> Convert selection to MP3. The conversion will take a few minutes depending on the length of your lecture.
4. Click and drag the selected file to your desktop. Rename if needed, leaving the .mp3 extension
5. Your file needs to be stored in your teach.lanecc.edu webspace as they are too large to upload directly to Moodle. Once the file is uploaded, you will "point" or link to it from your Moodle site.

Hi Michael,
I met with someone in your department (I think it's your department) who helped me figure out how to do a podcast.  I have recored one and now I don't know how to get it on the server and then connect it to moodle.  Can someone help me?  Thanks.
