Ok no coofffee yet this morning... yes, let's keep all the forum contents, move it to winter term. Static instance for admin use sounds like it might be a good idea for all things classified and admin.  By the way, of course I have to ask, what about media files? Do we still direct people to teach.lanecc.edu?

Any thoughts about what to do with the forum that you guys started for instructors, currently living in Fall 2006?  My feeling is that we should probably move it out of Fall 2006--either put it in Winter 2007 (and so on down), or put it into a static instance of Moodle that doesn't change from term to term.  I'm kind of wondering if maybe putting up a static instance for that kind of thing might be a way to sneak in the administrative instance I've been talking about, but keeping it under the radar--don't designate a function a priori, but set up something where courses can be added ad hoc.  But for a stopgap, I think i should probably be moved--including all user data, I would think--into Winter.  I'm just thinking it would be nice to keep the forum contents so folks could refer back.

Thoughts?
