Meredith--it looks great! I need a description of each course. Below, I p=
ulled the descriptions of Intro and Advanced Moodle from the Fall In-servic=
e schedule. If they still basically describe what is covered, I can go wit=
h those. I will just need a brief description of the Intermediate.

This is great! I'll keep a copy for historic records as well...

Introduction to Moodle
Last March, 2006, Lane chose opensource Moodle (over commercial products We=
bCT and Blackboard) as its Learning Management System (LMS). Whether you te=
ach traditional, hybrid, or fully-online courses, here=D5s a chance to try =
out a very flexible and friendly online course space. Moodle offers numerou=
s options for setting up a class, including discussions, transferring files=
, announcements, grading, posting syllabi and assignments online, creating =
links to other web sites, and even setting up web pages and wikis! This han=
ds-on workshop will introduce participants to the Moodle software system (h=
ttp://moodle.lanecc.edu).

Moodle Advanced Presenter
Current Moodle users are encouraged to attend this advanced session, where =
we will work with the Moodle gradebook and activities other than the common=
Forums, Assignments, and Quizzes that most instructors already use. The pr=
esenter will also share helpful tips and other Moodle =D2secrets=D3 which c=
an increase your efficiency and take less time, rather than more of your ti=
me. You will also be encouraged to share your successes and learning experi=
ences with attendees.
***This session may encourage the creation of a Moodle sharing and support =
group that will meet frequently online and once-a-month, face-to-face for b=
rown bag lunches.
