Hello Joe,

Thank you for the information.  I would prefer option 1 or 2. I have contacted the Moodle administrator to get set up (my attempts at logging in were futile).   I'm assuming most students are familiar with Moodle, so I think I will try that option first.  If I have additional questions, I will send you an email.

You have some choices.

#1  Use Moodle
It is a software tool like BlackBoard or WebCT, and even if your class is not fully online, it can certainly be used if only to post a syllabus and materials/handouts.

If you choose this route, login to Moodle with your L# and PIN at
http://moodle.lanecc.edu

If you are so new that you are not recognized by the system, contact the Moodle system administrator at moodleadmin@lanecc.edu with all of your information (L#, coursename, your name, CRN, etc.) so he can set you up.

#2  Use Easy Instructor Website
This is a website that allows you to post syllabus and handouts, via a web interface, as easy as copying and pasting and clicking.  Let me know if this sounds like an option.

#3  You code your own HTML and use (secure) FTP
I can set up a website where you can do it all yourself.  Your website (and homepage index.html) will live at:
