Meredith, Hi...
I read through the instructions and it sounds pretty much like what I origianlly did, so I ran through it again with your instruction sheet right there.  I logged in to Spring 2007 Moodle, clicked Metacourses under Admin, then, where is shows the "Create a Metacourse" form, in the block that says, "Select the courses..." etc for your metacourse, it says "No courses available."  
I have six classes assigned to me for Spring 07, and they show up on Expresslane, etc., so that's not the problem.  I had no problem creating my (regular) courses for my two online classes this term.  I usually create one Moodle meta-course to use as a supplement to my three Math 10 in-class classes, which is what I'm (unsuccessfully) trying to do here.  I've done this before, so can't figure out what the problem is......
(This can be resolved after the term starts, by the way, since this is just a supplement to my in-class Math 10 sessions - I'm glad I didn't have these problems with my two online classes!) 
Let me know what you think I'm doing wrong............

I was trying to create a Megacourse so that I could restore my backup from Fall when I discovered this.  Am I doing something wrong or is there a glitch here?

When you login to Spring term, do you see your individual math sections?  If not, contact David Walton at moodleadmin@lanecc.edu and let him know.  If you are the official instructor of record, you should see all your CRN's.

If you do see those math courses, then click the Metacourses link (under Courses) on the left side Admin block as soon as you login.  Use this form to create a new metacourse with your existing sections.

Into this new META course you should restore your backup from Fall.

I'm trying to restore my Fall term classes into spring term (I was on sabbatical for Winter...) and I've got them all except my Math.   I use a meta-course for my math sections, since i have several of the same section, but, now, when I try to set up a meta-course in Spring, the list shows "no courses available..."  Help!>........
