Correct.  In the new term, with the existing empty shell, when restoring it, choose the "add to existing class DELETING it first" (or something like that).   There is nothing really to delete in an empty shell, so you are fine.

Hi guys-

I have a question.  I have backed up my psy 202 moodle course from this term and I want to "restore" it into my SPRING psy 201 shell that David has already made for me.  And I want to avoid making the mistake that Bill made earlier this term.  

Is this correct: when we are creating a "new" course IN THE SAME TERM as the backed up course, we need to choose "new course" (so as not to wipe out our existing course), BUT when our "new" course is actually in a new term (i.e., spring) we need to choose the "something and delete old files" option?

I will humbly await your wise counsel.
