Well, I have students who are not keeping their banner addresses current, but I can talk them into keeping a class specific address current -- yeah, I know why is it different ...

First suggestion, use Moodle announcement posts to spam students.  ;-)

Secondly, login to your easy website and be sure that YOUR email address is entered in the appropriate field.  I'm betting that the field is empty.
