Joe,

Thanks for doing the research on this.  I've reconfigured MySQL to address the issue, and restarted the database process.

Cathy: the problem should now be resolved, so you should now be able to back up your course.  Please let me know if you encounter any problems.

I am trying to backup my fall 2006 BA 218 PERSONAL FINANCE (CRN 23643) class and keep getting the following error message:
    A required parameter (backup_unique_code) was missing.
which stops me in the backup process directly after the file name is given.
 
I want to restore the course to a new course created BA 218 PERSONAL FINANCE (CRN 31979)   What is your recommendation?
 
I recently successfully completed a backup/restore to my BT 120 MS WORD for Business (CRN 23486).
