I didn't expect an answer since I got a message that there isn't a faculty webmaster.

I'm not sure I'm understanding what you're saying or perhaps I'm not being clear.

What you're saying is what I think I do for all of my pages.  But this time  I'm wanting to create something with all sorts of images and links about local food and I want the address to stay the same even when someone else takes over managing those pages.  For example, I have an alias for the Faculty Connections website but it's address has no "naylore" in it.  It's 
https://teach.lanecc.edu/fc/

Can I create an alias?

Just create a directory called foodandnutrition in your Sites directory.  Put your pages in there.

I'm working on a webpage wqith many photos about our local food.  It would be good for someone else to take it over (as well as some other pages I do) if I ever retire.  Joe set up me up with an alias in my "naylore" webspace for the Faculty Connections website.  Could you set me up with another alias on the teach server called:

FoodAndNutrition
