Allison -
Ok, I think the next step is to consult the folks at teach.lanecc.edu - I'm cc'ing the email account online@lanecc.edu that needs to be contacted. I know there were some changes to the teach.lanecc.edu server before Winter break.

Thanks for this opportunity to assist you.

Hello,
I had a work order in for my Mac account and received notification that it was fixed on 1/4/07. However, I am still having the same problem. Here's what happens:

Clicking on links to documents causes an error box to pop up, informing me that I cannot open the document because I cannot change the contents of the folder it is trying to save it to. For example, if you go to my webpage teach.lanecc.edu/cunninghama, then click on the Math 20 tab, then on "Handouts", you will see a list of documents and pdf files. None of these can be opened when I am logged as myself. When I use my officemate's login and password, though, I have no problems opening these. Thus, I believe there is a security setting in my account that needs to be changed.

I need to be able to have access to the documents on my webpage, and this is a problem I have had since I started here fall term. Perhaps deleting my account and starting from scratch might be the best approach, rather than continuing troubleshooting.

Thank you for your help.
