Thanks, Joe, I believe you have answered the question.  I, too, tried a QUIZ 
w/FAKE STUDENT account and the system did, in fact, cut me off and SAVE all 
answered questions.  So it is working as advertised.

This particular student claims his laptop battery died and dumped him out of 
the system.  By the time he could get up and running, the time period lapsed.  
He identified that he answered all but one question, but I suggest he did not 
SAVE WITHOUT SUBMITTING and with the laptop dumping, it did not save any 
answers and time lapsed.

Though my policy is to drop the lowest quiz, this particular student missed 
the last one sooo I can see why he is scrambling to request another opportunity 
to take the quiz.
