Webmasters:

Question 1: I emailed David re: moving HO 101 forward into Winter Term and I was instructed to hold my class under "Courses under Development"--as I am sure you know.  He mentioned something about creating my course in the "current instance" of which I have no idea what that terminology means.  Could you please explain this terminology for me?

Question 2:  I need to hold my class in the "Winter instance" and would like clarification on a couple of items, please.  1) Am I to fill out Course full name, short name, CRN's and summary?  I am assuming I do, but especially with the summary, I didn't know if this transfers over when I formally move the class from Fall to Winter.  2) The course start date will be Jan 8th, but I am not certain what to put in the "Date Range" for start and/or end?  I also an not sure if I am to do anything with the "course enrollable" option, either.

Question 3:  When Moodle is ready for Winter classes, I need reminded how this process works.  Joe showed me this I believe (or part of the process while working with Anne O'Brien in the fall), but I only remember pieces.  I believe the Backup and Restore are part of this process, correct?  Considering my class is already functioning in Moodle, does it already exist in a zip file or does one have to be created?  If so, where do I find that file? I am sorry, I know this shows my limitations, but I am open to learning!  :-)  

Question 4:  My current class is a metacourse.  Joe most likely told me this earlier as well, but I need reminded if this is a process I need to complete every term as I will always have two CRN's for every class (one traditional students, one RTEC)?
