Dear Webmasters:

I am writing to request information on a couple of specific issues when using the computer lab at LCC versus my home computer.  I did this transfer Spring term with Meredith at LCC, which was much faster than at home.  However, I do NOT have an computer assigned to me at LCC and therefore do not have a desktop, etc.

Question 1: When on LCC's computer and backing up my class, the process is to "save to disk".  At home, that usually puts the information on my desktop.  At LCC, will that simply default to the desktop of the computer I am using or where will it go?  

Question 2: Then when restoring, where do I go to  find the file for "uploading the file"?

Question 3:  I am not accustom to using Foxfire (I am used to Internet Explorer).  Are there any differences that are significant for me to know when using Foxfire while forwarding my class?

I appreciate your instruction.  Using a computer that has software that I am not familiar with and that I don't have a desktop that is specific to my uses causes too many unknowns for my comfort.
