Click it so it say
You are not subscribed to this forum. 
That should stop the emails.

The MACRO that Beth is talking about is a MSWord macro that she uses to format all of the students recipes.
My guess is that she will have students "turn in" their recipes in the specific order she wants.
She will copy and paste them to a Word document on her computer.
Then, she will run her macro, which should format the recipes in some special way.

Where it gets confusing is that it sounds like she will have students "turn in" recipes as a Moodle Quiz Essay Question. ???
That sure is a strange way to do it.  I surely would not collect student work that way, but apparently, she wants to give points (in that quiz grade) for the recipe, so has chosen that way.  Therefore, this will be another manually graded quiz grade.

Dear Webmasters Meredith and/or Joe:

I have a couple of questions:

1.  Forums:  I checked "NO" in "Force Everyone to be Subscribed."  I was hoping not to receive all the postings in e-mails but I still do receive them.  I checked on the notes from the class but I can't find if I have to do something else.  Do I need to select another setting?  Please advise.  

2.  I'm sending you the attachment for one of the Units that I need to correct.  I'm sending you the original so you can see on the things I'm dealing with... corrections I have to make and so on.  Anyway, in the instructions that the previous teacher is asking to the students she talks about sending the recipes in a format.  She talks about "macro."  Is this "macro" in Moodle?
What kind of things do I need to set this up?  

The above is for week 7.  There is in Moodle a test regarding the Recipe Contest.  Is this in "macro" that she is referring to? How will I tabulate the answers?
