Each of your announcements should be considered a new topic.

By chance, did you accidentally change the forum format to "single simple discussion", in which case you can only reply to your very first post.  Change that back (it's at the top of the update page) to Standard Forum.

I have somehow managed to mess up the Announcements Function in my first box.  Previously, I was able to see all the of the Announcements sent, and I think it is still working in my sending messages to students, but again, rather than giving me a listing of what I've sent before, and inviting me to "add a new topic", I seem to be stuck  on the previous one sent about speech signup.
