I do have a closing date and they are still not showing on my calendar.

Also I do have ALL boxes checked.

When you put a due date (closing date) on your quizzes, they are automatically added to your calendar. 
 
Make sure ALL boxes are checked, including the RESPONSES one for all 3 lines to accomplish what you want.

1) How do I get the calendar to show my course events like when quizzes are due? 
 
 
2) I have a quiz that students get to take multiple times and they get a random selection of questions each time they take the quiz.  I want them to have immediate feedback on what they got wrong and the correct answers but for some reason the correct answer does not show up after submitting the quiz.  I have clicked on update quiz, and check marked the show answers box after submitting. This is for the Research Studies Review quiz in FN 225 course.
