Hi, David. During winter break I input my quizzes and exams into my Oceanography Moodle course site, using Aiken format files (converted from TestPilot by Joe). I had to do a lot of extra work and double-checking after input because the Moodle program truncated many of the lead statements and answer choices in my multiple-choice questions when these items contained apostrophes, quotation marks, or dashes. Can the program be fixed so that it will not do this, or can you recommend another fix to the problem? I will be inputting new sets of quiz and exam files each time I teach the course, and I'm hoping I don't have to scour my files for truncated statements each time I input the files.
Thanks for any suggestions you might have. There is no rush on this.
Greg Miles.
