I'm using ZipCentral from the Utilities folder that appeared on my desktop.

I bet you are right about the corrupted file(s) because my source location has hundreds of files with no directory structure. In other words it's a mess. I'm trying to figure out the best way to get my old dinosaur website into moodle format. Is there a way I can identify corrupted files and/or fix them?

Hi Shelly,

Can you let me know how you are zipping them?

Are you using:

Windows - with compressed files and folders
Windows - with WinZip
Mac OS X - internal zip shell
Mac OS X - Stuff It
Linux, etc.

Also, it sounds like you may have a corrupted file at the source / on your computer.

Let me know and I will work with you on it.

-Dan

I just created some zip files and uploaded them to my moodle course. I did them all the same way and all of them uploaded fine, except one which gave me an error message saying that the document contained no data, so I couldn't upload it.

I deleted them all, then re-zipped each one individually and the same thing happened with the same zip file - I thought maybe it was too big but it's only 84kb.

Any clues on how I can troubleshoot this?

Thanks.
