I see now it is a font issue... I printed the original email, and "l" looked like "1", "I" looked like "l"... thanks...

(with complex passwords, I find that it's best to paste them in to avoid typing issues)

*** If you only use EasyWebsite, then the above information will let you login with no other tools (and you do not need to read any of the details below).

However, if you use FTP to manage your website, then you need an FTP program that supports Secure FTP (also known as SFTP).

If you use FTP (and not just EasyWebsite)  the following information will be relevant:

Note:  When connecting via FTP, use Secure FTP (SFTP) which runs on Port 22 (and a program that offers that - Like CoreFTP or Cyberduck - unfortunately, WS_FTP LE does not support Secure FTP / SFTP).
(as non-secure FTP is not available)

For reference, I have attached a screen capture of using both CoreFTP (for Windows) and Cyberduck (for Mac).
