Dan,

When I create quizzes, I've always gone into the Quiz Link and set the quiz preferences there, like letting students see their responses, answers, feedback, and scores, immediately after a quiz (or whenver). I thought I had the Scores box checkmarked and that was why I was puzzled as to why it wasn't working.

Hi Laura,

I found the root of the issue.  It's that in your quizz settings, you are not allowing the grades to be shown after the tests / quizes.

P.S. I already made the update below for your gradebook ... so the only option that you will have to touch is the quiz option mentioned below.  Also, I updated the option on the quiz in week 3 - as detailed below.

Here are the steps to solve the issue:

Go to "Grades", "Set preferences", "Use Advanced Features", determine whether or not the points are shown to the students (i.e. if they can see their own points ... they cannot see seach other's ... this allows a student to see only their own).

Also there is a test by test option that is involved here with regard to quizzes.  In addition to the gradebook, if you want them to be able to see their scores, there is an option in the quiz setup itself ... those steps are:

Log into Moodle
Turn Editing On
Go to the quiz you want to show grades for
Click on the editing icon - looks like a pen on a paper tablet icon
Scroll down until you see a setting for "Students May Review" - "Responses, Scores, Feedback, Answers"
Go to the section where it says: "After the quiz is closed" ... from the Select / Check "Scores"

Hi,

My students are unable to see any of their scores on completed quizzes. My class site is:
BT 220  MS Word for Business--Expert (CRN 23497).

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
