 Hi Dan,
The student was using whatever browser is in the lab (435 Center)--firefox or mozilla?  No laptop. I don't know what she uses at home.  

I am, in general, really frustrating about teaching in that lab as there has never been a knowledgeable lab tech in the adjacent open lab all quarter. I suppose it is due to budget cuts. The lab person in there today did not know anything about macs.

Also, I cannot figure out how students can see their ratings when I grade their posts in a forum.

Can you let me know what web browser the student is using?  As we haven't had any reports of the issue.

Since you say that it happens at home and school, I am taking that to mean that you are indicating that on two separate computers (a students home one and a school computer) give the same results.  

Or is it that the student is using a laptop at home and then bringing the same laptop to school and connecting to the wireless?

Also if you can let me know the web browser and version (if known / available) that would be of use.

Hi Joe,

One of my students says that when she clicks on something in Moodle the computer freezes. This happens at home and at school. Today in the computer classroom she clicked on "Forum" and it froze. We have not had a lab tech in the adjacent lab who knows anything about the macs.

My other question is: how can students see their grades?  I can see them but they cannot.
