In class today, we spent time discussing point of view, fact and bias, and knowing or rejecting history that we learn. We could probably continue the discussion for several more class meetings. But we won't. This "first forum post" is an easy one... it's short and there are no right or wrong answers. It's main purpose is to make a forum post in Moodle (some of you for the first time). I want you to post a few sentences by the deadline . Your comments will be visible in an open, public forum, readable by all students. This will get you ready (and over any technical computer/internet/Moodle hurdles) in time for your future forum posts, which will require much more time and effort, will last multiple weeks, and be based on a specific historical topic.
